The Coolingstat

Creating a comfortable indoor climate is one of the most essential requirements of a shared workplace. Still, a large portion of office workers suffers from thermal discomfort on a daily basis. Working in a shared environment that is hotter or cooler than your personal optimum temperature is shown to impact happiness, health and productivity.
Design process
The research & design process went through an iterative process. In each iteration, different design methods were applied to generate design insights for the next iteration. Users were involved with the design process and evaluation.

Interactions with this user interface are kept to a minimum to get let you get on with your work. The UI displays most wanted factors that motivate you to create a comfortable indoor climate. Last but not least, the Coolingstat is featured with the Eco-mode, it saves unnecessary energy waste for commercial buildings, brings sustainability into people's life.
